Sinkula Investments Ltd. Co. is one of the largest franchisee corporations in the Northern Kentucky & Greater Cincinnati communities. Founded by Bill Sinkula and Joe Sinkula in 1995, our company has been dedicated to building exceptional Wendy’s restaurants for more than two decades.

Get to know our Sinkula family and leadership team:

Founders: Bill Sinkula, Joe Sinkula and Cindi Sinkula

Co-President: Jessie Aston

Raised in Cincinnati, Jessie Sinkula Aston is the
daughter of the company’s original founders, Joe
and Cindi Sinkula. Jessie is a dedicated leader that
is passionate about continuing the legacy of service
and quality that her parents began. In her current
position at Sinkula Investments, Ltd., Co., she is
oversees the performance and growth of Sinkula and
its stores, employee experience, including human
resources, recruiting, and training, and for local
marketing, and Sinkula Investments’ community and
charity involvement.
Prior to joining the Wendy’s organization in 2018,
Jessie Sinkula was with WaterAid as a Program
Manager, where she collaborated with teams in
Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste to improve
clean water access and education around sanitation
and hygiene. Jessie Sinkula Aston holds a master’s
degree in International Development from the
University of Melbourne in Australia and a bachelor’s
degree in International Affairs with a concentration in
economics from George Washington University.

Co-President: Laurence Aston

Leading the Operations and Finance Departments
at Sinkula Investments, Ltd., Co., Laurence Aston holds
a bachelor’s degree in Finance from RMIT University. Originally from
Australia, Laurence is the husband of Jessie Sinkula Aston.
Fiscally minded and strategic, Laurence works closely with
Jessie in leading Sinkula Investments, LTD. forward.
Laurence previously held various positions at a number of start-ups; most
recently as a data engineer for the use of statistical modelling.

VP of Operations: Tracy Hurd

Tracy is another great example of the loyalty of our
Sinkula team! She has been a vital part of our work
family since 1999. Today, Tracy is responsible for the
performance and success of the restaurants, including
making sure the company initiatives are properly
executed. In addition, Tracy hires all managers for the
Sinkula restaurants. In Tracy’s words: I love working for
Sinkula because of our dedication to the training and
development of our employees and our consistency
in making our people the foundation of our company.
She also appreciates the opportunity to work with
different charitable groups and having the chance to
live out Dave Thomas’ core value of “Giving Back!”
Tracy spent most of her life in the local Northern
Kentucky are until her recent move to Amelia, Ohio.

Human Resources/Office Manager: Michelle Huelsman

Michelle is an integral part of our business family, and she has been with Sinkula since 2000. As our one-woman human resources department and office manager, Michelle ensures that our company’s main office runs smoothly and that we properly market and grow our business. Michelle loves the day-to-day interaction with team members and customers. She also enjoys that Sinkula supports giving back and provides her with the opportunity to volunteer in the local community.

District Manager: Stanton Granger

Stanton is a native of Covington, KY, and has been part of the Sinkula family since 1999, nearly the life of our business! As District Manager, Stanton coaches and guides the management teams for five of our restaurants. He also assists with technology for all of our teams, and he helps us find the right employees to join our Sinkula family by supporting the interviewing and hiring processes. In Stanton’s words, “We are Sinkula Investments:” He loves the culture and beliefs of the company, investing in and truly taking care of our people, which in turn takes care of our investments.

District Manager: Bob Davis

Bob Davis began his Wendy’s association in 1983 as
a General Manager in Training for Wendy’s International. He opened Sinkula
Investments’ Edgewood, Kentucky store when it
belonged to Wendy’s International. Throughout his
career with Wendy’s International, Davis was active in
many roles including GM, TSM, DM, FTM, and FAD.
Also, he is a former Operating Partner for ten Wendy’s
locations with two DM’s in Southern Kentucky.
His restaurant experience includes expanding his
portfolio by working for two full-service brands, Steak
N Shake and Frisch’s.
Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, Davis is a
graduate of Scott High School and attended Northern
Kentucky University studying Business Management.

District Manager: Dave Roetting

A former president and operating partner for 13
Wendy’s locations in Butler and Warren counties
in Southwest Ohio, Dave Roetting has been with
Wendy’s since 1984. He began his career as a crew
member at the Blue Ash, Ohio restaurant and worked
his way up to a top position. Roetting’s strength and
enjoyment lies in developing managers into future
leaders. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Roetting is a
graduate of Sycamore High School and the University
of Cincinnati. He has lived in West Chester, Ohio since
1997 with his wife and family.
