Sinkula Investments Ltd. Co. is one of the largest franchisee corporations in the Northern Kentucky & Greater Cincinnati communities. Founded by Bill Sinkula and Joe Sinkula in 1995, our company has been dedicated to building exceptional Wendy’s restaurants for more than two decades.

Our goal is to create restaurants where our employees love to work and our customers love to eat. Every day, we make decisions that support our mission, vision, and values, and we are proud of our award-winning team.

Get to know our Sinkula family and leadership team:

Founders: Bill Sinkula, Joe Sinkula and Cindi Sinkula

President: Ken Corbett

Ken has been with Sinkula for 14 years. On a day-to-day basis, he directs and oversees all aspects of the business, which requires him to keep an eye on our goals and set us on a path for a successful future. Ken loves that Sinkula is a true family-run business, where personal development and growth fuel the future—not weekly or quarterly results. Ken comes to Sinkula from his hometown of Waynesville, Ohio, by way of an exciting career and life path with Wendy’s that included stops in Baltimore, MD; Denver, CO; and London, England.

District Manager: Stanton Granger

Stanton is a native of Covington, KY, and has been part of the Sinkula family for 19 years—nearly the life of our business! As District Manager, Stanton coaches and guides the management teams for five of our restaurants. He also assists with technology for all of our teams, and he helps us find the right employees to join our Sinkula family by supporting the interviewing and hiring processes. In Stanton’s words, “We are Sinkula Investments:” He loves the culture and beliefs of the company—investing in and truly taking care of our people, which in turn takes care of our investments.

District Manager: Tracy Hurd

Tracy is another great example of the loyalty of our Sinkula team! She has been a vital part of our work family for 19 years. Today, Tracy is responsible for the performance and success of five restaurants, including making sure the company initiatives are properly executed. In addition, Tracy hires all managers for the Sinkula restaurants. In Tracy’s words: “I love working for Sinkula because of our dedication to the training and development of our employees and our consistency in making our people the foundation of our company,” She also appreciates the opportunity to work with different charitable groups and having the chance to live out Dave Thomas’ core value of “Giving Back!” Tracy spent most of her life in the local Northern Kentucky are until her recent move to Amelia, Ohio.

Human Resources/Office Manager: Michelle Huelsman

Michelle is an integral part of our business family, and she has been with Sinkula for more than 18 years. As our one-woman human resources department and office manager, Michelle ensures that our company’s main office runs smoothly and that we properly market and grow our business. She relocated from her hometown of Columbus, OH, to live the country life in Ryland Heights, KY. Michelle loves the day-to-day interaction with team members and customers. She also enjoys that Sinkula supports giving back and provides her with the opportunity to volunteer in the local community.

Training Facilitator: Laura Hall

For the past 14 years, Laura has been part of our Sinkula family as our training facilitator. Laura ensures that every employee receives proper training for new products, and she follows up with all new trainee managers to make sure they are being trained correctly and have the tools they need to succeed. For our three training stores, Laura makes sure company standards are met and our employees are learning consistent procedures and processes. Laura is originally from Cincinnati, OH, and she moved across the river to Independence, KY, in 2016. As a long-time team member, Laura loves that Sinkula is not only a company that wants to grow business, but that we believe in putting money back into our stores for our customers and for our team members, including providing the best training possible and allowing employees to continue to grow and develop.
